Savory

Savory Goes A Long Way in Cooking Lessons

A word that is popular in the culinary world is savory. Every cooking show or description of a recipe that is not sweet has the name savory in it somewhere in the lines. The word comes from savor, which means to enjoy the flavor. When the food is complete, and the taste test goes into effect, the taste buds are firing on all cylinders ready to enjoy. Many people can bring out the best in others. Some can bring positivity in a situation, but chefs can not only bring out the best in people but also do it through their food. When the final test occurs, and the word mmmm, savory comes forth from their vocal cords and mouth, it can be the most descriptive word in the dictionary. It makes the person watching experience what the flavor burst feels like and tastes. Memories may fade, but a savory dish goes a long way.

Chefs put on a cooking show or cooking lessons for those who are interested. This is how they express themselves in front of the public eye and leave a little bit of a legacy behind with every dish. It gives them a chance to fulfill the crowd's wishes to get recipes and an added chance for the chef to shine and show off his or her talents. Many chefs have been made famous through cooking lessons or cooking shows. Some of these shows can get viewed repeatedly while people are learning how to cook. It is so much better with the technology we have nowadays that certain spots of the video can start over at the push of a button. The old VHS tapes would have to be rewinded and wait for the place to come up. By the time it was ready, most people had forgotten what they were cooking. Everything around us makes it quick and easy to learn how to cook from the professionals.
